Man how much does Easter rock? You have that whole anticipation of Good Friday, a very sad but needful day and you have the guarantee that on the third day your saviour will rise from the dead. Resurrected! Giving a resurrection life for everyone who wants it. Awesome! Who could ask for more?!?
I went to church on sunday with that buzz of expectation of being thoroughly blessed and I was. The minister shouted, “He is risen!” and we shouted, squeeled and clapped back, “He is risen indeed!!”. Ahh after that it was song singing, worshipping and flag waving for a full hour and a half. Can an Easter sunday worship session get any better? I don’t think so.
Thank you Jesus for your sacrifice! Some days it’s beyond my comprehension but I am grateful for it and the life I have in you.
