Ok, so I am sure that everybody has noticed these ridiculous signs in the back of people’s cars, “Baby on Board”, “Princess on Board”, “Prince on Board”, well I think that they are totally pointless and crap…however, I did see the crappiest one ever the other day which said, “Expectant mother on board”….my reaction….”And?”
So I have now decided to get one of my own, saying something like, “Driver on board”, or “Novelty car items on board”, or “Ma Maw on Board” If anyone can come up with a better one please go right ahead to the usual address…….
I did see the best bumper sticker ever though a few weeks ago which said, “DON’T STEAL: The government will see it as competition”. Excellent!
On a closing note I am in Arran this week and from the 4th of August, there will be a Viking Festival on which involves various madness, food and competitions such as skull throwing, maiden carrying and long ship racing (the one which wins is put out to see and torched on the final night! I believe that the original purpose of the baby on board signs was so that rescue workers could quickly identify priority cars in big pile ups. Sadly they’ve been done to death now, and are no longer useful
